How much stuff do I actually need?

I’m a super detail oriented person so if you think I’m being dumb, please just skip this post. 
How many blankets, bibs, bottles, pacifiers, onesies do I actually need to get so I’m fully prepared for this baby?

Honestly on the bibs and blankets and stuff it depends how often you want to do laundry. I kept two pacis and I think we had about 12 bottles because I think he ate 4 a day and that meant i didnt have to wash as frequently but again it depends on what you'll be comfortable doing

I’m the same way so don’t worry! I didn’t personally buy any blankets bc I knew that’s what everyone would gift. So I have about 15-20 which I’m totally okay with. As for the thin ones, I bought 15 total in case she’s a terrible spit-up baby and I’ll always have clean and extra. I have 10 bottles. 5 tommee tippee, 1 dr. Browns, 1 cheap one, 3 of the plastic bag refill. All different brands and nipple shape just to see which ones she takes to and likes. I don’t plan on using pacifiers but I have 4 total that were gifted. (:

As far as blankets goes, only a couple for lying on the ground, and if you plan on swaddling with receiving blankets I'd say maybe 6-7 or so. If you are entirely bottle feeding maybe 4-5 bottles (2 small, 2-3 large). If you're breastfeeding and offering a bottle or two a day then you'll only need 2-3 bottles. With pacifiers it's nice to have 3 or so. One by their bed, one attached to their carseat, and one for around the house so the other two are always where you need them.

Well dont go overboard because you get a lot of shit from the baby shower as well.
