Just got a call from my doctor and my hcg levels are still at 16, four weeks after my MC. I'm seeing her on Friday, but in her notes she's suggesting I wait three more months before trying again. THREE MORE MONTHS?!!!? I'm getting more info obviously but has anyone been told this? She originally told me that I could start trying again right away so I'm shocked by this new development. Is four weeks a long time for hcg to leave your system or something??? I'm upset, heartbroken, and honestly a little angry with this whole process, and I've never hated my body more.
