Oh the fun adventures 😂 (not toddler related)
So I have no idea where to post this but it was such a whacky thing I have to write it down 😂
This morning started with a "grocery shopping is postponed until we catch the rabbit in the backyard" and I'm not joking!
We had a runaway rabbit slipping through the fences, scared by the neighborhood cats and people's attempts to catch it. While the neighbor tried to catch it at the other side, it tried to slip under the fence but I was waiting on our side with a set of heavy duty gardening gloves - saved my forearms from getting scratched raw, the poor thing was scared to death.
We gave it water and some hay, set it up in a spare cage (from when my sister wanted a pet ages ago and then left it here) and posted photos in all the local social media groups we could think of.
By lunch, the frantic owner came by and took it home.
In the meantime my toddler got in a handful of bunny caresses 😂 it was quite docile and friendly, once inside a cage with food and water.
The surprise still gets to me 😂 "who feels up to hunting for the bunny out in the garden?"
