Cradle cap?

My baby had really flaky dry skin in his head and I think it's cradle cap but I'm not 100% sure (If it's not I want to bring it up with his doctor). I'm just now noticing it this week since his hairs thinning out but I zoomed in on one of his newborn pictures from a few weeks ago and could kind of see it.

That’s how my sons looked. We scrub it every other night in his bath with some baby oil and a soft brush and it’s helped tremendously! Good luck momma!

Yup! Dealing with the same. Coconut oil and brushing out with soft brush every night! shampoo will make it worse so avoid that/keep to once a week or so.

Definitely cradle cap. I left coconut oil on my sons head for an hour then picked each piece out by hand (the comb wasn’t working). Looks so much better and didn’t come back. Good luck!

I don’t know if your breastfeeding but use your breastmilk and a soft brush. That will clear it up

My son had this for a few days. We used aquaphor ointment and shampoo. Cleared up within a few days.

My daughter has this now too, I believe it’s cradle cap.

My daughter had a dry patch of skin on her forehead between her eyes ... I asked my pedi about it and she said it was cradle cap and told us to wash her hair and forehead with selsen blue shampoo ... just did it for first time tonight
