I find that a lot of “vegan” dishes use truffles, but I’m pretty sure that truffles require pigs to sniff them out. I’m not really sure how the pigs are treated, but I did see a video in my bio class about how the truffle-sniffing/eating pigs are often slaughtered because they’re fat and their meat tastes truffley.

I don’t know if this is a dumb question, but I just thought I’d ask.
