My girlfriend is not out to her parents😅😓

Hello everyone!

I’m 16

So I’ve recently started dating a girl (7 weeks now)

It’s going great! I am so happy, I’ve never dated anyone before.

Everything in the relationship is healthy

and slow paced, which I’m totally fine with.

But my only concern is that she’s not out to her parents and every time I come over to her house and say hi to her parents i feel like I’m lying or being rude because I know I’m keeping this huge secret.

My parents know, but hers don’t know anything.

I am completely fine with it, because I know how hard it is to explain these things to parents, especially when they don’t have a great view on same sex relationships😨😓

But all I’m asking is if anyone has some ways of dealing with the awkward times.

Should I even feel guilty for lying to their parents that we are just friends?
