What is the point of taking ur temp every morning? You don't get to know u ovulated till it's over right? Seems confusing to me

Hey Lori...if alls well with your cycle you CAN tell when you are about to ovulate bc your temp will dip. Ovulation should happen within days after the dip. I find pairing bbt with opks a good indicator.

It helps to pinpoint ovulation helping to be more accurate on dpo. It can also help to see if it was an anovulatory cycle if your temp does not spike and stay elevated for at least 3 days.
