I stopped takinng pills for 2 months but I started taking pills again and just 3bdays after I had sex, can I get pregnant??

Many pills advise a 7-day wait and only certain ones (in general mini pills or combination pills started at the beginning of your period). Read your pamphlet and verify. Always read the pamphlet before you get into unprotected sex!

Everytime I was on the pill I was told by my dr to take a whole pack before it became effective.

Most pills require between 7 and 14 days to be considered effective, you'll have to read the leaflet that came with them. But it's more than likely that you weren't protected after 3 days.
