Advice Please!
So I leave for Costa Rica in 15 days for an entire week. Currently my son gets both breast milk and formula. Though my supply was low, I was able to pump a good amount of milk for him to drink while I’m away.
So here is where I need advice. While I’m away, I do plan on pumping still just to make my body believe that baby wants to feed. My concern is in saving the milk. Should I just worry about pumping the milk so that my body still keeps the milk production or should try to pump and save the milk.
I was thinking that I pump and just dump the milk. Although I know it would be great to save it or try to save it, I’m getting anxiety just thinking about how I would try to save it.
This is our 6 year wedding anniversary. I do plan on enjoying endless amounts of drinks so that was another reason why I felt like I should just pump to make sure the milk is still flowing , but dump the milk so I have nothing to worry about?
What do y’all think??
