Strange Behavior, But Only During Middle of Night
When I initially tried to formula feed my baby, I gave him Gentlease Enfamil - he HATED it from the beginning. He’d arch his back, scream, and act like it was poison. We gave it up after just 2 days. I eventually tried formula again - this time, I tried Similac Pro-Total Comfort, and it was wonderful! For the past two weeks, my baby has been happily guzzling it up with zero issues (pooping regularly, not too gassy, putting on weight beautifully, etc). However, as of two nights ago, my baby is once again acting strangely. He screams for milk, but scrunches his face and legs, arches his back, and screams after just a few sips. I’ll remove the bottle and try to burp him/rub his tummy, he’ll scream for milk again, and the cycle repeats. This occurs ONLY for his midnight and 3am feedings - all the other feedings are fine. What is this? Google says reflux, but can reflux happen for only 2 feedings out of the day? P.s: My baby is 8 weeks old.
