I breastfeed. I would think my family would be supportive of this. But I'm always asked to either cover up or leave the room to feed my child when I'm at family events.

I'm uncomfortable under a cover, especially when it's warm. My baby boy gets VERY warm under a cover, I can't imagine how uncomfortable he is. I have no issue going to the mall and whipping my boob out on a random bench. I've done it, no one's said anything. I went to dinner with my FIANCE, at a family restaurant, and he told me to cover up cause "it's a family restaurant" like fuck, half the kids here were probably breastfed and why are we teaching them boobs are to be sexualized? Teach them what they're actually for!

I have a Canada BBQ and my fiance told me it'd be easier to bring a bottle for him so I don't have to breastfeed infront of everyone. But fuck that. I'm gunna whip my boob out wherever I am and FEED MY CHILD when he is hungry. And if anyone has a problem with that, I'll squirt them in the face & then pack up and leave. And just avoid all family functions till I'm done breastfeeding.
