Anyone's epidural not work?

Question

With my first, it didn't work and I felt everything.  I'm pregnant again and I'm worried it won't work again this time.  Anyone have the experience before?

My first one worked so good I couldn't feel to push. My second didn't it only numbed my right leg I felt everything else my stomach my left leg and yes even my daughter coming out.

They tried to get mine in SO many times. It hurt like hell! They never were able to get it in the right spot, so I (reluctantly) had an all natural birth. A few weeks later I STILL had insane back pain, got x-rays, and found out I have a twist in my spine :( so, no epidural for me this time either, my anatomy makes it literally impossible to have one. OUCHIE!

I got mine at 3:30pm and it worked great. Started pushing at 9:30pm and it had started to wear off but I think it's due to running out and them needing to change the bag from a few minutes.  It's not going to block everything.

With my first child it worked wonders and I never felt a thing. With my second child the dr that administered it was a total asshole and jabbed it in then when I told him only one side was working he yanked it around which made things worse. Needless to say I felt ever contraction in my butt and I felt the ring of fire when she came out. I didn't get the full blown labor pains because it did work partially. But it still sucked. I would say it all depends on how it's inserted
