What in the world are menstrual cups?
Where do you buy them?
Are they better than tampons and/or pads?
Can you wear thongs with them?
Are they visible?
Where do they go (inside like a tampon or outside like a pad)?
Approximately how big are they?
As you can see i have a lot of questions about these "cups".

Look up Diva Cups :-) they are a reusable flexible cup that is inserted inside just like a tampon and you can wear it for 10-12 hours. I haven't ever tried one but after researching I'm seriously thinking about making the change :-)

They are like tampons but instead of absorbing u just bleed into the cup and when u pull it out its like a cup of blood tbh i dont perfer it i think its gross and messy

Cups are awesome! 
They go inside of you like a tampon and are generally bell-shaped. They are not visible and you can wear them inside for up to 10 to 12 hours depending on how heavy your flow is that day. Yes you can wear any underwear you like with them since you don't have to put anything on the outside. I got mine at Whole Foods but they are available online and I have seen them at other specialty grocery stores like Harris Teeter. I recommend the first time you use one to wear a pad just in case, but you can find a YouTube video and the cup comes with easy instructions. I've never had a leak in my 3 years of using one. You can buy disposable ones at Walmart. They aren't expensive. There's like 12 in a pack. I don't prefer them because it's a mess to insert or remove. I struggled to position them well too.
