Humidifier for a cold?

Question

Baby started daycare when I went back to work at the hospital so didn’t take long before she developed a very stuffy cold. Poor thing wakes up mouth breathing the last two mornings with crusties all around her little nose. I can’t tell if the humidifier is helping it or making it worse? Anyone have any advice because you can’t give them medicine this young?

I use saline spray then nose Frida to suck out the snot. I also use the humidifier every night but the nose spray is a game changer

Nose feida with saline drops. 
Vick’s kids humidifier with pucks vapor pads so the room smells like Vick’s. 
Our doc also ok’d is to use this over the counter baby cough syrup decongestant that was for either 8 weeks and up or 12 weeks and up. Lulababies or something like that. 
Tylenol if baby has a fever. 
It took our baby a long time to get over the congestion which the pediatrician said was totally normal.

Dealing with the same thing and get a nose frida it is a game changer but i use the humidifier every night and baby chest rub and saline spray and the nose frida. We have been dealing with this about a week now and it got better then worst! The doctor told me this is all i can do and they will eventually fight it off! They don’t want to give antibiotics this young unless high fever or not eating at all!

we do essential oils if baby gets sick. both diffused as well as topically
