Can clomid throw off your cycle??

I took clomid last month didn’t get pregnant and had my cycle as normal.. this month no clomid and now I’m 4 days late but all BFN.. wondering if maybe it’s a side effect from last month? I’ve been having really bad cramping like AF is coming but not one single spot.. I know there’s a possibility I ovulated late but how late could it be that it didn’t pop up on a pregnancy test by now? Did anyone have messed up ovulation or cycles after stopping clomid? We have our IVF appt at the beginning of august I’m hoping my cycle will regulate itself
