Do you have hypothyroidism?

Did it affect your sex drive?
I was diagnosed with hypothyroid over a year ago and have been on medication ever since. I got off of it due to a misunderstanding with my doctor and my sex drive has been non existing and my emotions are everywhere? Have you ladies ever felt this way due to having a hypothyroid?

I have Hashimoto's disease. I can't go off my meds 1. Because I'm preggers and 2. Because I jist can't function without it. Find you a new doc and get back on those meds!

Be super careful, it could be dangerous to stop taking the medication. The human body needs the thyroid hormones to basically make everything function from your ovaries to your heart. With hypothyroidism, your body isn't getting enough of the necessary hormones.

I have hashimotos. I'm sorry .. I know what you are going through.  I have lost my sex drive. I am exercising more and on a gluten free sugar free diet and its helps with the pain and stomach issues but hasn't borough my sex drive back. Baby steps for me to feel "normal". Wish you the best of luck. I joined 2groups on fb that have really helped me feel not so alone.

Yes it did but the medicine has helped so much ! My levels are now stable and I'm back to my old self again !!!
