Unsure

Had 1st appointment today. Vaginal ultrasound. Supposed to be 8.5 weeks from 1st day last period. Nurse searched and moved and I said nothing there? She said looking. She asked when took test I said 30 days from lmp. She said should be seeing 8 weeks. I said could it be false positive? She said no. I said in the tube? No. Not into fetus yet? She said not seeing 8 week movements. I said so... She asked any nausea. No, not with 1st baby either. Cramping or bleeding? I said tightness in right, off and on for min or two every other day maybe. She said I see a sac no movement. I asked, do I wait to bleed or? Miscarriage or? She said you can come back in a week and I'll get you miscarriage info. Call if you're cramping and bleeding.

I have no idea what any of this means! I don't know how to feel, what to expect, on and on. Husband said maybe baby hiding, not grown to 8 weeks yet, could be earlier then 8 weeks, he always says the 40 weeks is off anyways cause period, ovalating, implementation, etc is all later then when they count.

Has anyone had any of this happen to them? What was outcome. Don't want to be disappointed or negative but hard to know what to feel. Just going to hope for something to show next time. Idk
