I recently restarted practicing acrylic nails and I’m pretty good I think. I used to do it in my senior year of high school for senior events and would get paid. I’m 20 now. This is my second set and I did it on my sister and I really like how it turned out so I wanna start getting paid for it. My problem is, I’m too generous. I feel like since i just started, it’s not worth much but I also dont wanna sell myself short or get stuck accepting too little once i’ve gotten more experience. In miami, nails with no gel (im getting the gel system delivered and it will be another week til i have it) and sequins + length (my demographic will most likely want long) start at around $40. Since im a beginner, I was thinking $20-25 and after like 2 weeks, go up in price, especially since I’ll be working with gel. Is this a fair price for what i’m able to do? If you get similar nails done, how much does it cost you? Im going to do two more sets on my sister before I do other people but I’m starting to get inquiries and want to have a plan.

Edit: i think some people are confused about the question im asking! Reread the title to truly understand, because I’m not asking for the legality of what im doing and will be pursuing this either way. If you have a price suggestion i’d love to hear it! ☺️
