So I’m currently 32 weeks pregnant and I’m starting to set up my room for my son. I have his bassinet up and all his stuff packed away and his hospital bag and diaper bag packed and ready to go. I noticed that my cat has taken an interest in the bassinet at first it was him rubbing on it and I would tell him to leave it alone and he would listen, now today he keeps trying to fuck with it scratch at the bottom of it and mess around with the blankets I have on the little storage area on the bottom. I have never seen him act this way before even after I got my first rabbit (he was a little jealous of but he’s now afraid of them because one of them likes to hump him lol). But back to the issue of my cat I give him attention all the time he recently has started to cuddle up next to me at night instead of sleeping at my head or feet and I always try to make him feel loved. I even try to give him his favorite wet foods a few times a week, I honestly don’t know what else to do I feel horrible that he’s acting that way especially because he knows he gets to sleep in the bed next to me every night, he knows that I’m always gonna feed him and give his weird ass water outta the bathroom sink since he can’t drink out of a water bowl even thou he does have one. Is there anything else I can do to get him to stop like, this morning I had to yell at him and get my fiancé to yell at him thru the monitor in our room while he was at work since I know that he won’t listen to me sometime, since i guess I spoil him. I just wanna know what I can do to make him feel like he knows I’m not gonna stop being his mommy too just because I’m gonna have a baby soon doesn’t mean anything like that is going to change, and I also know that he will be great around the baby I seen him around little kids and he was also around my brothers when they were babies and he was just fine. ( I’m 15 and 18 years older than my brothers btw and my cat is only 8 years old).
