Do we need a condom? READ FIRST

I lost my virginity last night. We are 18 and high school grads and yesterday was our 14 month anniversary so before anyone asks, yes I was ready and had sex ed.
I have the Nexplanon birth control implant in my arm and we used a condom and he pulled out. The condom was really annoying though and I was just wondering what you guys think is okay? Do we need a condom since I’m on birth control and he pulls out?
Btw we both DO NOT have STIs.

Technically no. But it’s always good to have the added protection!

I’m on the implant and don’t use condoms and it’s working for me so far

If you’re not willing to risk pregnancy then yes use one. Many people get pregnant not using condoms and being on birth control.

I mean, if you want to be extra safe then yes. Neither one is 100% effective just keep that in mind.
