What do I do?!

My baby is 4 days old and all she wants to do it eat! She won't lay down she won't let her dad hold her without crying because she wants on the nipple. I'm so lost and SOO tired!

She's probably hitting his first growth spurt which can be exhausting some babies sleep more during them mine however do not lol they both like to be extra cranky. Or it could be she's using your nipple as a pacifier and it's comfort so she doesn't want to anywhere but there. I know it's hard trust me I have twin girls but just remember it will get better!

Right now your baby's tummy is so tiny, it can only hold a few ounces at a time. So they do need fed every few hours. If you just fed her and she's still fussy, try burping her, and swaddling her, and rocking her or if you have a swing use that. If you want to use a pacifier that's up to you, but try soothing her and getting her comfortable first.

All you can really do is try to get through it, the first few days my lo wanted to eat constantly, I barely slept or did anything but feed her. Once my milk came in she got full real quick and it was better. Then a few days later she seemed to be hungry more again and falling asleep while eating. It's an up and down process, hang in there, at almost three months it is a lot easier and I get breaks to do what I need to do. But right now I'm just sitting here snuggling with her while she sleeps because I know soon this will pass too.

My dd was high needs as a newborn just keep nursing on demand that's about all you can do. I wore her in a boba wrap daily just to get stuff done, also and this is crazy talk but you sound desperate? If mine got super frustrating with the crying the only thing that got her to settle waste holding her super tight while I did squats or bounced on a birth ball. This too shall pass!
