Anyone else's baby in the transverse lie position?

I'm 26+2 and at my midwife appointment she told me baby is lying across my stomach rather than down. I've been in quite a bit of pain which explains it however I'm worried. Anyone else?

Yep that's very normal. And nothing to worry about. The baby should settle head down by about 34 weeks, I think they said. If you're concerned about position, you can always do some spinning babies positions

I’m 27 weeks, my doctor said baby was transverse today, but he didn’t seem overly concerned about it for now 🤷🏻‍♀️

I can tell when mine’s doing this, I get punches on one side of my belly and kicks on the other. On our anatomy scan, he liked to kick his legs out and throw his hands up behind his head. ☺️🙄
Either that or he’s vertical and doing jumping jacks in there.
