So I just read an interesting article. I'm not an overly religious person but it's an anti birth control religious type story .. I'll make a very long story short. Lady took progesterone BC and got pregnant.. Had symptoms and tested the day before her scheduled period(and days to take the placebo pills In the BC cycle)and got a positive, she panicked and just ignored it and the next day got spotting - went to ER, and her hcg was high enough it wasn't a chemical she had conceived and lost it. The dr told her you in fact can easily conceive on progesterone BC but within a day of stopping taking it (i.e. The dummy pills of the cycle) it signals a cycle so you MC. To my medical friends or ppl w experience w progesterone BC is this true? Can you actually get oregnant and throw your body into a MC? This really bothers me as I'm starting to plan for conception for the future..
