She's a new mom and during her pregnancy she asked me for a lot of advice. Even tho, at the time I wasn't pregnant, she knew that my background with infants and pregnant women would help her. Mind you, I never gave her advice or an opinion without her first asking. Since finding out I was pregnant, she has become my worst nightmare. Unwanted pregnancy advice all the time, she gives her opinion on everything, she seeks my attention when I don't give it to her. She's added my husband (who is currently deployed), whom she doesn't get along with, on every social media platform he has, trying to get her childs father to give my husband parenting advice. She's doing way too much and that's just half of it. Everything I say goes over her head. When I told her I felt I was going to have a girl, she insisted until the gender was revealed that I was having a boy. I'm talking from the day I found out I was pregnant, up until the hour before I found out the sex. She insisted that my daughter be named after HER grandmother. I never even met her grandmother. I decided on a name but I decided not to tell her until the baby is born. She has unsuccessfully tried to dictate my baby shower, what I do and don't post to FB and IG, and who will be in my room for labor and delivery all because she lives too far away to experience it. I'm at my wits end. And I've tried to tell her to chill out with the crazy, but she acts like I'm breaking up with her. I'm so over it. Like I don't know what to do or even say to her sometimes. Anyone else have this issue or is it just me?
