Pain on left side

I'm 8 weeks today. Last night I was having pain on my left side, but to me it felt like strong gas pains. I didn't want to go to hospital for them to tell me I have gas 😟 today it's more of a dull ache and just uncomfortable. I talked to the nurse and she associated it with round ligament pain? She told me to not make any sudden movement, relax and call if additional symptoms come up. Of course, part of me worries, should I?
