My doctor recently prescribed me Progesteron.

I do have a very irregular cycle (40-60 days) and have had two MC so far.

She said I should take Progesteron from Day 16-26 in my cycle and that should help regulate/Shorten the cycle. First month it worked (31 days)

So: maybe this is a dumb question But I just don’t know it - does Progesteron affect Ovulation? Or does it affect conception? I know people who took it AFTER ovulation/conception to help keep the pregnancy.

With my two pregnancies (MC) I think I ovulated very late, so after Day 16.

can I Ovulate under Progesteron? I thought I‘m ovulating now (day 19), but I’m not sure. Just had egg white cm last night.

And if I can ovulate, does Progesteron affect concept conception?

Currently TTC so I wanted to know. And sorry again, if this is silly.. :/
