If I cook salami is it safe to eat?

I’ve eaten salami my entire pregnancy and it’s been fine. I think it’s the nitrates that are bad for you so cooked or not cooked is fine.

Its cold cuts like salami and soft cheese that you should be careful with. If its cooked youll be fine but if you want it cold eat it within 24 hours of opening....

I eat it. Cold. Same with sandwich meat. You have the same low risk of listeria with fruits, veggies and soft serve ice cream.
