Are these nails ok? UPDATE

I typically only have my natural nails, but it's been a year since I've been to the salon and felt like stepping outside my comfort zone. I went to a new place and felt like the nail technician was experienced, but I need other's opinions.

My husband thinks they're too long, to be honest, I'm having trouble getting used to them. Opinions? Suggestions on what to get next time.....

I'll post a picture I showed the technician as a reference for shape and length. I'll also post my nails.

Update: I went and bought a battery operated nail file, with attachments. I'm well aware how unprofessional they look, but I'm able to function, now that they're about 1/8 off an inch shorter. I will also never return to that salon again.
