I guess I’ll go to a doctor?

Bruises heal within days right? I mean depending on how bad the bruise is but usually day to day you notice changes to said bruise as it heals. That’s right, right? Maybe I’m losing it. 
The other day I posted about how my foot is badly bruised and swollen and I don’t have any idea what I did. Its at the top of my ankle. It never hurt or anything. Period. 
Yet the bruise has not changed. It’s still exactly the same as it was 2-3 days ago and it’s beginning to hurt. The swelling has gone down and isn’t there anymore (actually I take that back. It has swelled again) it’s starting to hurt like something tried to rip my foot off. It’s so weird looking.. when I compare it to the other foot it looks like I’m bending it but I’m not. 
😭😭😭 so this is me being a big baby and whining about it lol. Guess I have to go see my doctor which I hate doing
Has anyone else ever had a bruise that took a while to heal? That’s the most concerning part to me is that it’s not healing like normal

Definitely go get checked if you are super worried but if it’s just an everyday bruise, try putting some arnica gel on it. It’s a root based gel that helps the coloration and duration of bruises! If not arnica, use a vitamin k cream! Both can be found in like rite aid or a supermarket!!

I have a bruise on my wrist from where the ER attempted to put an iv and failed, and it’s still there after almost 3 weeks. Granted it is green now and not black and blue but it is obviously still there
