My birth story: My baby boy was born on 6/13 his due date was 7/15 I was 35 weeks and 3 days when I had my c section. I had marginal previa and my placenta was less than a cm away from my cervical opening. I also had gestational diabetes. I was going for biweekly NST and he was not responding to them at all no matter if I ate before or not. Then they had me go do the ultrasound test to see if he would respond and he was still scoring low and so my doctor said it would be better if he had to spend a few days in the NICU than to continue my pregnancy. So he scheduled my c section for the next day. When he was born he scored an 8 and a 9 on the apgar and he was breathing perfectly and all the doctors were shocked how well he was doing. And he did not have to go to the NICU. We had the steroid shots a few weeks beforehand. And he weighed 6 pounds 14 ounces and 19 inches long. They told us he was the biggest 35 week old baby they had seen. Luckily my diabetes saved him. I would just like some support because everything about him scares me I dont know what is normal and what isn't and what he should be able to do. Any friends would be great 😔😔
