Hormone imbalance

OK ladies. So my Fiance and I have to been trying to get prego for the past year and nothing, we had a maybe but turned out negative. So I'm back at my doctors, I have blood after blood test I'm not diabetic, or anything don't have a thyroid problem either. So I go in today to check the results of my hormone levels? Has anyone experience this to be a caused of not being able to get pregnant?
