Best convertible car seat for traveling?

We currently have the Nuna Rava in our car, but it’s bulky and heavy. We travel often, so we’re in the search of a “travel” car seat. Any suggestions for a convertible car seat that’s relatively light weight, easy to install, and comfortable for baby? TIA 🙏

The problem with the Cosco one is that there are only four height slots. My son outgrew it when he was two. I got him another cheap one for travel that will last way longer and it’s convertible. It was maybe $30 more but I should’ve got it the first time. It’s the evenflo sonus. It’s actually decent for a cheap car seat. Machine washable and maybe 9-10 pounds. Only has one recline but so does the cosco one. It has extra padding too for when they are little. Two cup holders and strap covers. Cosco was $70 CAD and evenflo was $90 plus it came with a booster seat.

I have Nuna Rava as the normal car seat too. Just got the Evenflo Tribute LX off Amazon for air travel. The reviews on Amazon were good for using it as a lightweight car seat when you have to travel with one. Worked pretty well on my first trip with it (flew alone with my 18 month old)....easy to install in the Uber. Got a travel bag with backpack straps to protect it and keep it clean when I checked it as luggage.

Cosco Scenara Next

We have the same problem with our Clek Fllo as far as traveling, so we now have 2 of these for our “travel seats”. Both my boys have always seemed comfortable, and they are super light! They are easy to install with the LATCH system or seatbelt (there is no built in seatbelt lock though, so I purchased a couple locking clips to use if needed). They do require a little extra care when strapping in the child as the straps twist easily and there are no shoulder pads so watch their necks when you tighten the straps, but I don’t mind when we only use them occasionally and the seat is so affordable. It is approved for use on airplanes as well.
