Hair removal?

I'm 4 weeks pp and my cesarian healed very well, however it's very low and my pubic hair grows right through it. I personally prefer to be very well shaven and I was wondering if shaving or nair would be an option for me right now?

Do not shave or use nair! Nair is filled with chemicals and you don’t want to risk anything going near your scar. I also waited until my 6 week appointment to ask my doctor. It’s not worth possible infection risks to be hair free. I’m also an extremely hairy person. I felt like a gorilla but as soon as my appointment was over and got the OK from the doctor I shaved it all! 😊

I personally waited until after my 6 week appointment for my OB to look at my incision. Didn’t want to risk infection.
