so, i’m watching boy erased right now, and i’m thinking to myself “why is conversion still legal?”. i am fully aware that it is illegal in some states, but it’s still legal in some. (not sure which.)

i understand some forms of why they do it. for example, like in boy erased a girl used her dog to lick her vagina by putting peanut butter on it. not exceptable. but i don’t get other reasons. like being gay.

anyway, why is it still legal? like, shouldn’t it be illegal? they’re literally BRAINWASHING people! and their parents and family put them in that situation, completely without their consent. they might be “okay” with it, but they’re really just going along with it because they know the consequences.

if you support conversion, i genuinely would like to here your opinions and reasoning for it.
