Please help me understand ...

My hubby and I have been ttc for the past 7 months after our daughter was born. A week ago, I got a very very faint positive. 2 days later I retested and it was faint positive again, tested later that night came back negative. I had horrible cramping, my period was 4 days late and I just felt preggo. Decided to go to ER since cramping was very bad. Went to ER they confirmed I am pregnant with the blood test. HCG level was a 9(very low) but they couldn’t see anything with an ultrasound. Told me to come back after 48-72 hours to recheck HCG levels. Went home and did another pregnancy test(couldn’t believe it lol) came back super positive :) Today I had minor brown spotting. Took a shower got out and I had red spotting. Went to ER(again) and after doing blood test my HCG level was still a 9 :( bleeding started to increase. Something like you would get on the first day of your period. Little but more than spotting. Bright red/dark red. I was told I might not even be pregnant or I might be miscarrying. Super confused. Very sad since I had finally gotten a positive after 7 months!!! 😪 Had anyone ever had Symptoms like this that actually turned out to be okay ? I did have this same issue with the bleeding when I was pregnant with my daughter. Not as much bleeding though. I really don’t even know if I really was ever pregnant ? Please help me understand. My last period was May 23. Attached is my pregnancy test that shows positive.
