Time to let go?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 5 years but it was a long distance relationship. In August of 2018 I moved to where he lives but not with him. He now is going to leave to school to another state and he hasn’t really talked to me about. I know most of the details because I’ve heard other people tell me. Honestly I feel like he doesn’t care what I have to think. What do you guys think?
