how long was your first proper period after having baby. just wondering as something my partner said to me the other day has had me thinking I could be pregnant again baby only 9 weeks old but thinking about it my period even though was very heavy the first couple of days *heavier then my normal* just the same and length in days as I have had happen with my other 3 before finding out I'm pregnant with them . my periods are generally 6 to 8 days but mostly a week exactly but each time I've had a "period" before finding out I'm pregnant have been 3 to 5 days and the only period I had a week ish ago was only 5 days but the last day and half was barely there spotting. all 3 of mine I've always had a period after I conceived . but these last couple of days I've been feeling very tired (but could be little sleep from looking after my 2 year old and a baby) but also feeling occasionally sicky but nothing like I had with the last 2 (had hyperemesis) . what got me thinking is my partner said that I've got blood vessels in my eye that look like a "fishermans hook " and that it means the woman is pregnant I said nah I've never heard of that one and called bull on it but I googled it and its true that it does but it's more of an old wives tale for gender but I said its probably because I'm so tired he said no it means pregnancy but I dont want to believe it . yes I'm not on b/c just yet but we had a couple of times we ended up having sex as the urge got too much for both of us one was at 6 weeks pp and one was the day after my "period" stopped we used the pull out method both times I know not a guarantee of effectiveness so I dont need the well yes you could be pregnant because I know this and knew this when we did it at the time . all I'm wondering is how long was other womens first period after baby lol
