Took my kiddo to the gym

I’ve been working my butt off going to the gym since late March. most days at 5:30 a.m. five days a week. With 4 of July I skipped the gym. I decided to go today and brought my almost three year old to play in the little kids area for the first time.

A few sets into my workout my son stood on a bench to peek over the half wall to see me. His smile was so amazing. He was beaming at me pointing to the other two kids proudly saying “that’s my mommy.” I felt so proud oh him and myself.

At home later he told my husband “Mommy go up and down, Mommy strong. Mommy hold weigh.” It’s a circuit training I do and he saw me doing squats ankle taps and arm workout. I’m so glad he got to see me working out and plan to make this a part of our weekend routine!

I’m down 20 lbs and this was the perfect motivation to keep me on track!
