Missed period and Negative test!

I am 5 days late. My periods are always 28 day cycles. I took a pregnancy test 2 days ago and it was negative but still no period. Can I still be pregnant?? I have back pain and feel like my period is coming and nothing yet. I think my mind is just playing games with me!!
