I think math and science brains are more accepted than creative brains. It seems our intelligence is tested more on logical and reason than it is creativity. I think both are important and there should be more of a balance. For example most core curriculum in school is geared towards math, science and language arts. However things like art, music and creative writing are seen as electives. For me, it makes me not want to pursue creative endeavors because they will be less valued as I progress in life. However that's where my passion is.
