Question

Last week I took a hpt and it was positive but I had a blood test done and it was negative. I was told to start medication to induce a period.. I felt kind of hesitant but thought I'd take another hpt to make me feel better about inducing a period. It was positive... Now I'm feeling paranoid so I thought maybe I had a chemical? I wanted 3 days and got another positive that was darker and now I have tender breasts and feel bloated. Has anyone heard of this happening? I know blood tests are supposed to be very accurate. I am so confused.
