Ginger tea for inducing labor ??

Has anyone tried it or have heard of this? I just drank a cup and well just hoping for the best 😩😩 I need this baby out already 😪😅
I’ve heard it has worked for some but also, nothing has happened to others so lets see

I’ve tired this but hate tea. If done properly it should work drink pure ginger tea made from the root (homemade) and you go into labor the same or the next day drink 1-2 full cups nothing added. I drank half cause it’s disgusting!!! Went into labor 2 days later. My friend did it went into labor same day

Large amounts of ginger can thin your blood and cause excessive bleeding.  Not something I’d try for inducing labor when it’ll raise your risk of a hemorrhage.  Normal amounts of ginger are fine but that amount isn’t going to start contractions either.

I’ve never heard of ginger tea inducing. I’ve heard of it helping with nausea. Regardless though, nothing is going to induce labor at home unless your body is ready or dr intervention. Most things that people say “induce at home” are wives tales or most likely coincidence. Things like walking, squats and bouncing on a yoga ball are all great excercises but will only really progress you if already in labor. Remember due dates are just estimates and don’t forget to rest and enjoy the last bit of your pregnancy :)
