We switched my daughter sooner than I would’ve liked, but she was inconsolable if she couldn’t see us for some reason. We fought it for so long because I’m so paranoid about car accidents, but ultimately car rides were becoming traumatic for her and she’d work herself up so it sounded like she was hyperventilating. If I’d had my way I would’ve kept her rear facing as long as possible. I’ve even tried randomly changing her a couple times to see if time has changed things for her, but nope.
She was two months shy of two years when we had to turn her 🤦🏻‍♀️

We switched when DD exceeded the height limit on the extended seats. I was hoping to keep her rear facing longer but she decided to be a giant
