Struggling with acne?

Na

Hello ladies,

I just wanted to share my story with acne. I’m sorry that i dont have before pictures, usually i would take them before trying a new routine and trying to catch the progress. Unfortunately, it usually never worked out so I’d delete them. I’ve been dealing with acne since i was 12/13, im now 22. In those years, i tried EVERYTHING. 3 different types of antibiotics, which I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND, i got so many yeast infections and all my doc recommended me to take probiotics and no medication while on it. So I’d treat it on my own over-the-counter hoping i diagnosed myself correctly. Even after i stopped I’d still get them up until a year not taking them. The only thing that worked for me was epiduo, but my insurance stopped accepting it so i couldn’t afford it anymore. If your insurance covers it, i would HIGHLY recommend you to try that. So then i joined the military, the insurance still didnt cover epiduo, so they put me on accutane. It worked really, really well. But it left my lips, skin very dry. Towards the last month of treatment, i noticed my urine started to get darker. It messes with your liver. The medication is harsh on your body. Luckily thats all i went through. Seriously, this cleared up my skin! But about 7 months after finishing up treatment, my acne came back! Bad, but not as bad as before. And i spent the last year trying to clear it up...but I’ve already tried everything and i thought accutane would be my only chance again...until i tried proactiv! I never thought it would work bc i looked at the ingredients, it has everything I’ve tried before. But they have that 60 days guarantee or your money back. I thought what’s the worst that can happen? I can return the product in 2 months and get my money back if it doesnt work. It’s now been one month and i gotta say i love it!! Any time I’d have a fresh pimple come in, it will destroy it. It’ll be gone by the next morning, already healing so fast. I definitely recommend it if you can afford the $30 a month. I dont know why i didnt try this when younger. $30 investment would’ve saved me so many years of acne, scars, and self-esteem. I’m thinking now that it has cleared up most of my acne, that i might try drug store products with the same ingredients, do the same routine, at a cheaper price to maintain it.
