Harsh?

Is it harsh of me to express that I get annoyed when my Father in Law shares with me how I should be keeping my pregnant belly safe? I’m worried enough as it is, I don’t need him to make me even more anxious.

I am just worried that if he is being pushy now, how is he going to be like when I have this baby and it scrapes a knee and I brush it off?

My husband says he was always very overly protective and would panic if a kid falls. I want my kid to be able to pick himself up after a fall (if the injury is not large) and not have his grandfather come running and panicking to me how I should have helped him.
