so when my boyfriend worked and i was at home i would clean the whole house spotless, dishes done, house swept, bathroom mopped, etc. i worked my ass off every night to clean up, take care of our dog/ and rabbits, and make dinner for him.

now he doesn’t work, he smokes weed (ALL DAMN DAY) spends every cent he had on it, and doesn’t do shit at all. i started working to pay our bills, and i work at walmart so i have to work quite a bit in a week to make ends meet (40+ hours) and i’ve been sick so they have me a unpaid ‘vacation’ time so i could get to feeling better (i work near deli so i can’t be sick). and he’s complaining how i quit my job, and how for the past 2 months i haven’t cleaned the house, or did the dishes, or mopped the bathroom (i just started working TWO MONTHS AGO. 9 am-7 pm most days, when i get home i’m completely exhausted, and i have to make my own meal and feed him as well and shower and clean up the room, EVERY NIGHT). so he’s calling me worthless, and saying i never do anything so what’s the point of being with me..

i’m upset.. do i have the right to be? his mom says that even though i work i should come home and clean and cook because i’m a woman, and he is the ‘man of the house’. :((

update: we are going. i’m 18 and he’s 20.

also, he is crying that we are going to behind on bills... BUT ONLY BC HE QUIT HIS GOOD PAYING JOB THAT HELPED US SO MUCH ALL BC HE ‘never had time to smoke when working there’ HE WORKED 8 hours a day🤬

update 2: HES ALSO A MAMAS BOY. depends on her for everything, constantly on the phone with her (literally 10+ A DAY)

i was just told that walmart ‘isn’t a job’ that stresses me out lol
