I watched Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil & Vile over the weekend. For anyone who doesn’t know, it’s a movie about the murders by Ted Bundy. He ends up being sentenced to death and is executed.

I know there’s a lot of people here who don’t agree with the death penalty. But could you agree with it in this case? Or in cases similar where many people are tortured and killed? My belief is that a person this violent should have their life ended. They don’t belong on this Earth.

And I know the death penalty costs more money than having a person imprisoned for life, but what if magically the legal/judicial system was revamped and the death penalty was more cost effective? Would that impact your decision at all? I know it’d take a ton of work, but I feel like the death penalty shouldn’t and doesn’t have to be so costly.
