Does it really only happen when you stop trying?

Has anyone gotten pregnant even though you were obsessing over everything? Or does it really only happen when you stop trying and stop thinking about it?
My first was an oops when I was 19 (wound up miscarrying) now 26 and trying for my rainbow but I obsess over everything 😂🤦🏽‍♀️

We actively tried for over a year. I got my BFP my first time using clomid so we were definitely trying!

Got pregnant twice when ttc last time (first was a chemical). Was doing pretty much everything: tracking with opks, cm, cp, bbt. Pineapple core after o for 5 days. Preseed during fertile window. Femara cd 3-7. Lots of hiking and walking during fertile week too the cycle we got pregnant. We even did at home artificial insemination the days we couldn't bd. So definitely trying very hard.

This happened to my best friend. Tried relentlessly for over a year. Got to fed up, made an appointment to get her IUD put back in, and on the morning of the appointment,  she took a test just for the heck of it, and bam, pregnant!!!
