One doc told i was dilated and effaced & one told me I was nothing

Ok so I’m pretty discouraged y’all. I am only 37 weeks but baby has been measuring a little ahead since the beginning.

Last week My doc was excited and shocked that I was a centimeter dilated and 80% effaced. Head -2.

Today I had to go to l&D due to a headache that hasn’t gone away in 24 hours and contractions 4-5 min apart . The resident that checked me is telling me I am not open at all or effaced and my doctor was wrong. They are trying to stop contractions due to only being 37 weeks.

I mean I get it and understand but has anyone else had this happen to them?

Baby weighing 6.8 ounces and doing great though. Currently hooked up to monitors seeing if the contractions are doing anything .
