Catnapping babies still? Anyone?

My almost 5 month old still only catnaps all day. Anyone else? Even at daycare which he started last week, same thing.. 10-30 min naps all day!! He’s been sleeping ok at night, generally puts himself out after our routine, wakes to eat once around 3, then maybe a binky or shushing here and there otherwise until morning. 
Anyone find a way to fix the catnapping?!

I found I was keeping my daughter awake for too long so she was getting overtired and catnapping. Once I started putting her down after 1.5-2 hrs she started taking about 90 minute+ naps. So we wake with her brother for school roughly 7:30. He’s on the bus by 8:15 and then I feed her, bathe her, do a little tummy time or toys together and she’s ready to go down by 9:30 and sleeps till 11am sometimes even until noon. She’s usually hungry so we feed again. Then she’s up usually in the jumperoo or go for a little walk and maybe a little more playing. she takes another small bottle and napping again by 1:30/2 and sleeping till 4. I do try to keep her awake from 4-7 which is when she goes to bed. I was keeping her up for 3 hrs sometimes even longer since she didn’t want to go down. She was napping maybe 30 minutes.  I also was trying to give her 6 oz at every feeding and realized I was over feeding her so we went down to just 4-5 oz at a feeding and she seems much more content and happy.

I let my son sleep as he needs to! Sometimes he naps 15-20 minutes and sometimes 60-120 minutes

Yes, naps naturally start lengthening around the 5-6 month mark. They have just started sleeping for only one cycle at a time and it takes them time to string cycles together. My son has been gradually (very gradually 😂) lengthening his naps, I’ll include some pictures of his sleep training app (big gaps aren’t because he was awake, it’s because we were out and about and I didn’t track) he used to take exactly 31 minute naps but over the last few weeks they’ve gotten to be 36-45 minutes and occasionally 1.5-2 hours, usually with me having to soothe him back to sleep in there somewhere. If he’s still not sleeping longer than 10-30 minutes at a time in a month or two, you may want to intervene a little.

I heard that it should naturally lengthen between 5-6 months and that cat naps are normal at 4-5 months.
Sleep training to self-soothe was supposed to help. I did it, and now my son just falls asleep after like 5 minutes on his own rather than me holding him or rocking him for 30-45 min. 
He definitely learned to self soothe but he still cat naps all day. I hope naps really do lengthen on their own in time...
